The Red Bank Catholic Media Center provides students and faculty with the best possible resources available for academic research and inquiry. The Media Center librarian conducts a library orientation for the freshman class during the first two weeks of the school year. The orientation explains policies, procedures and how to make the most use of the databases RBC provides.
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 7:30-3:30
The Media Center is available to students with a pass from 7:30 am until homeroom or after school (no pass needed) until 3:30. Students may also use the Media Center during the school day if they have a pass.

Resources and Technology
There are 20 computers in the Media Center for students to use to work on assignments, conduct research, and take classes via Virtual High School. Students may also print assignments in the Media Center. There is a charge of 10 cents per page.
Bring Your Own Device Program
We understand that students today have mobile access to limitless, borderless and instantaneous information and resources. In an effort to put students at the center and empower them to take more control of their own learning, RBC invites students to use personal technology devices during the school day. This technology provides students the ability to access online information and resources, use available online textbooks, take class notes and more.
Students interested in participating in the program are required to adhere to the responsibilities stated in the Bring Your Own Device Guidelines. Use the link to print and sign the Bring Your Own Device Guidelines and bring to Mr. Russo in the Media Center.
Red Bank Catholic has many research databases available for students to access while they are in school or from home. Freshmen learn how to use the database system during their Media Center orientation. Media Center staff will provide interested students with instructions how to access the databases from home.

Within the Media Center is “The Quig,” a classroom equipped with state-of-the-art educational technology and 28 computers where teachers can conduct classes and students can work on assignments. “The Quig” is named in memory of 1993 RBC graduate Beth Quigley who was a victim of the September 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
