Head Coach - Rob DeFilippis
Rob DeFilippis Founder of Runner's High - Metuchen/Co-Founder RH-Freehold is a certified USATF Level I Track and Field Coach. He is a former NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track athlete at the University of Maryland. He is the current coach of Red Bank Catholic High School, where in 2011 his girl's 4 x800 relay team captured the Indoor National Championship running the 3rd fastest time in US history. Rob is also a 2 time NJ State Indoor Coach of the year and multiple Shore Conference Coach of the year in xc and track. He serves as co-director of the Shore Running Experience camp for distance runners held in conjunction with Monmouth University and recently has been named race director for the Belmar Chase, a major road race on the Jersey Shore.
During his tenure at RBC, Rob has coached 29 HS All-Americans, 6 NJ State All Group Champions, 45 NJ State Group Champions, and many county and Shore Conference individual winners as well.
On the team side, his boy’s have won 12 straight Shore Conference Divisional XC titles dating back to 2001. The girl’s have won 5 State Group XC titles, 1 NJ Meet of Champs title, 2 Indoor Track group titles, 2 Outdoor Track Sectional titles, 7 Monmouth County titles and 4 Shore Conference titles in his tenure.
Currently he has athletes competing at Columbia, Princeton, Michigan, Lehigh , and the University of Richmond.
