I hope this message finds you well. Know that you are in our prayers during this pandemic. It was just over a century ago that Casey families faced an international pandemic. Through it, they served their country in a World War, and all prayed. As I write this, Caseys are currently serving their country in the cause of freedom. All of us have joined in prayer for them and all those affected by this pandemic. Indeed, our motto is and always will be "Pro Deo et Patria".
We have relied on the Casey Fund to support important projects and initiatives. This year held never before seen challenges on campus. We invested in staffing, facilities, and technology to ensure that our return to campus could be as safe and healthy as possible. While we strategically applied for and received grants for safety equipment, it did not cover everything we needed to return to campus this fall. But we believe our students belong in the building. It is important for their well-being and education.
We remained committed to ensuring that our students continue to benefit from our dedicated staff of highly experienced educators in all aspects of the school, from arts, to athletics, to academics, and more. And all are working harder than they ever have!
The amount of tuition assistance we are able to offer students directly depends on the generosity of our Casey Fund donors. Every gift to the Casey Fund enables us to offer an education to the most qualified applicants regardless of need. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of a Red Bank Catholic education in a normal year, much less one with so many additional operating expenses -- the remainder is made up by gifts to the Casey Fund. Many of our fundraising events have been cancelled or delayed this year making the support of our community critical at this time. Keeping Red Bank Catholic affordable ensures we are able to open our doors to all deserving students.
As we approach the holidays and the Holy Season of Advent we continue to pray for you and your families. During this challenging time, we hope the memories made at RBC cause you to smile, and maybe even laugh.
We invite you to make an impact...on the students, faculty, and programs at the heart of Red Bank Catholic. Many of you have been so supportive over the years. Each gift is one we can pass on to a new generation of Caseys.
Thank you and God Bless, Robert Abatemarco Principal |
