FINAL EXAM INFORMATION
Please review the following schedule and procedures for final exams, which begin Wednesday, June 9. Exams are administered in English, History, Mathematics, Science, and World Language and equal 20% of the semester grade.
There are two exams each day: Session 1 runs from 8:30am to 10:00am and Session 2 runs from 10:35am to 12:05pm. Students are dismissed at 12:12pm. Homeroom, which is mandatory for all students who have an exam on a given day, runs from 10:05am-10:30am between Sessions 1 and 2. Students must attend Homeroom, but may arrive late or leave early depending on their exam schedule for that day. Students without an exam on a given day are excused and do not need to report to school.

Please note that the only acceptable reason to miss an exam is illness verified with a doctor's note. As specified in the Student Handbook, any student who is absent due to illness during exams must present a doctor's note before being granted administrative permission to schedule a makeup exam on June 15. No exceptions will be granted for this requirement. Failure to sit for an exam at the appointed time will result in a grade of zero for the exam.
Students are entitled to two exemptions for courses in which they earned an "A" average for the second semester. As outlined in the Student Handbook, absences cannot exceed a total of 20 for a full year course or 10 for a semester course. Exemption forms are now available in the Business Office and must be returned by 12 noon on Tuesday, June 8. No exceptions will be granted.
Buses will arrive at 12:12pm on June 9 and June 14, and at 2:26pm on June 10 and June 11. The library is available from 7:50am until the afternoon buses arrive for students who wish to study during sessions in which they do not have an exam.
