The Red Bank Catholic Dance Company teamed up with local dance studios and other high school dance programs on February 1st to present The American Heart Show on the RBC Broad St. Auditorium stage.

The performance was a compilation of dances expressing love and the importance of love in our lives and raised funds to benefit The American Heart Association.

One of the participating area studios was Jersey Shore Dance Academy, established this year by RBC Dance Program alumnae Megan Amitrani Ford (‘05) and Lucienne Lindsay Trout ( ‘07.) Kelsey Canta Pillari, another RBC Dance alumna (‘10) and a dance teacher at Colts Neck Dance and Performing Arts, choreographed some of the show as well.

Also sharing their talent on the stage were dancers from Movement Dance Academy, First Class Dance Academy, Kathryn Barnett Dance Studio, L.A. Dance Center, Woodbridge High School, Shoreline Dance Academy, and Dance Plus.  It was a beautiful night dedicated to the importance of love, and together the dancers raised over $1000 to donate to The American Heart Association
