RBC Alum Performs in Super Bowl with JT

RBC Dance Program alumna Jennifer Bermeo ('08) fulfilled a dream she has had since she was sixteen and danced side by side with Justin Timberlake in the Pepsi Halftime Show of the 52nd Super Bowl. Immediately following the performance she and the dance team appeared with Timberlake on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to perform again.

Jennifer discovered her love of dance and her own talent when she was a student in the RBC Dance Program under Director Mrs. Stacy Bascom. She credits the dance program and Mrs. Bascom for inspiring her to pursue her dreams. She says, “Mrs. Bascom is the reason I even decided to dance in college. I thank her for her faith in me even when I didn’t have it myself and for everything she taught me,” adding, “my success is as much hers as it is mine.”

After graduating from RBC, Jennifer went on to Marymount Manhattan College where she graduated cum laude in 2012 and immediately embarked on a career in dance. Grateful for the unique experience she had starting out in New York City before moving to Los Angeles, Jennifer has already built an impressive resume. She has toured the nation as an ensemble member of Hooray for Hollywood and most recently appeared on stage again in Beauty & the Beast: A Christmas Rose. She appeared on the TV show Lip Sync Battle alongside Terry Crews, on film in Ted 2 and Trolls and awards shows including the BET Awards, the GRAMMYs, and the EMMYs with James Corden, Steven Colbert, and Rachel Bloom. She has worked with recording artists Sophia Carson, Diddy, and Iggy Azalea, and has also appeared in commercials for Men’s Speed Stick, Skol, Target, Jeep, Crocs, and most recently the MC Hammer inspired Burger King commercial.

Jennifer continues to work hard and hopes to fulfill a few more dreams, including a world tour with a recording artist and an appearance on Broadway. You can catch Jennifer in an episode of the upcoming season of Legion as well as in the film Valley Girl.
