Red Bank Catholic High School is located in Red Bank, New Jersey, a town of middle to upper middle income, home-owning residents. Red Bank is situated in the North Jersey shore area, 65 miles northeast of Philadelphia, and 50 miles east of Trenton. The area is noted for its electronics and communications industries and its financial community. The future-oriented businesses are complemented by the rural and suburban atmosphere of much of the surrounding county. 

Red Bank Catholic High School is accredited by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission. Additionally, as a parochial high school, the Diocese of Trenton directs the implementation of the educational program.

The college preparatory curriculum of our four-year parochial high school is diverse and student-centered. Strong emphasis is placed upon the importance of basics in a traditional college preparatory program. About 827 students attend Red Bank Catholic with 218 enrolled in the 2017/2018 senior class. In the class of 2017, 92.8% enrolled in four-year colleges or universities; 7.2% enrolled in two-year colleges. The percentage of the class enrolled in two or four year in-state schools was 24.7%, and 75.3% enrolled in out-of-state schools.


A minimum of 130 credits is required for graduation and must include the following:
Four years of Religion and English       
Three years of Mathematics and Science 
Two years of United States History, World Language and Physical Education (CPR included 11th grade PE)
One year of World History and Fine/Practical/Performing Arts                          
One quarter of Health, one quarter of Leadership, one quarter of  Driver Education
One quarter year Physical Education (Grade 9 requirement)                                                              


Placement in Advanced Placement and honors courses is selective and based upon teacher recommendations, standardized test scores, and prior academic performance in the subject area.

For 2017, 57% of the 2017 AP scores were a 3, 4 or a 5. Eleven students were named AP Scholars, four were named AP Scholars with Honor. Thirty-seven percent of the class of 2017 took one or more AP exams. A total of 216 AP exams were administered to 111 seniors, juniors, and sophomores.

The Cognitive Abilities Test is administered to all freshmen. The average composite percentile for the classes of 2018 68%, 2019 67%, and 2020 was 65%.
