RBC CAC student leaders at the conference with Bishop David O'Connell, RBC Principal Robert Abatemarco, and CAC moderators Mr. Tony Flego and Miss Mallory Kirchner
Student leaders from RBC’s chapter of Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC) attended the Diocese of Trenton Annual CAC Leadership Conference on September 19th at the Chancery and Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ. This gathering of student athletes with Bishop David O’Connell, Superintendent Dr. Margaret Boland, school administrators and coaches featured faith speaker Matt Cubbler. RBC students, along with their moderators Mr. Tony Flego and Miss Mallory Kirchner, facilitated the student breakout session. All in attendance prayed the Rosary at the Grotto at Notre Dame High School. CAC, originally a college program, serves Catholic athletes in the practice of their faith and shares the Gospel in and through sports. Red Bank Catholic was the first high school to implement the program and the Diocese of Trenton is the first in the country to implement the program on a secondary level diocesan-wide.
