Red Bank Catholic High School
2018 Summer STEM CAMP
Spend some time this summer having a blast while learning about the Engineering Design Process! Over the course of eight days, you will be introduced to six types of simple machines and mechanical advantage through fun hands-on activities.
Then have more fun working with other students to design and build a Rube Goldberg Machine that will test your knowledge, ingenuity and critical thinking skills. A Rube Goldberg Machine (RGM) is a contraption that uses a chain reaction to accomplish a very simple task in the most complicated and crazy way. While you are creating your “solutions” to everyday tasks, you will also be coordinating elements of science, technology, engineering, math with some art and design too!
