Class of 1956 graduate Mr. Robert Horn and his wife Pat returned to Red Bank from their home in Oklahoma for his 60th RBC reunion weekend held this month. The Horns, who recently established a scholarship fund to provide tuition assistance to one deserving RBC student in each grade level, paid a visit to his alma mater while they were in town.
After a student-guided tour of the RBC campus and seeing how it has grown with the addition of new buildings and technology, they met with RBC Principal Mr. Robert Abatemarco to present him with the first installment from the scholarship fund. They told him how they particularly enjoyed meeting students during the campus tour and were happy to see the Casey Spirit alive and flourishing. Mr. Horn credits Red Bank Catholic with starting him on the road to success and wishes to afford that same opportunity to younger generations of Caseys. The Red Bank Catholic community is honored and grateful to be remembered with their generosity.
This Robert and Pat Horn Scholarship will be awarded annually. RBC families will be notified when applications are available.
