Schoology is a Learning Management System (LMS) that helps students, parents, and teachers stay organized and connected. Schoology is like a teacher’s website where announcements, lessons, videos, special dates, discussions, and pictures can all be posted. It allows teachers to post assignments, share resources, and communicate with students while allowing parents to view their child’s grades, upcoming assignments, and progress. Through Schoology, parents can stay informed and involved in their child’s education, ensuring they are on track with their learning and classroom activities.
How do parents access Schoology?
Parents receive a 9- to 12-alpha-numeric join code linked to their child. An email was sent to our newest Casey Parents. Parents go to www.schoology.com and create an account using that join code. Multiple parents can use the same join code to be connected to their children. Creating your parent Schoology account is only done once. Your account, linked to your child, will allow you to follow your child's courses and groups throughout their educational career at Red Bank Catholic High School.
PowerSchool is a student information system (SIS) that helps schools manage and track student data, such as attendance, grades, schedules, and more. It provides teachers, students, and parents with a centralized platform to monitor academic progress, attendance records, and report cards. Parents can use PowerSchool to stay up-to-date with their child’s performance, access grades in real time, and receive important school communications. This tool helps enhance communication between Red Bank Catholic and families.
How do parents access PowerSchool?
An email was sent to our newest Casey Parents with instructions and an access code to create your parent account. Parents go to https://rbc.powerschool.com
Naviance is a college and career readiness platform for schools that helps students connect their academic achievements to their post-secondary goals. It provides students with tools to help them:
Research colleges and careers
Discover their strengths and learning styles
Create goals and to-dos
Find colleges that match their career goals
Track the status of their letters of recommendation
How do parents access Naviance?
The guidance department adds students and parents to Naviance once they are completely registered and enrolled at RBC. Then, parents and students receive an email from Naviance to register with a temporary password, which should then be changed to a personal password. The individual username will always be the initial personal email used when registering in PowerSchool. Access to Naviance is at https://id.naviance.com/.
Parents use Naviance to monitor their child's activity on the platform. Students can complete surveys and inventories, update college information, and more through their student accounts. Guidance also uses Naviance to send bulk emails to various groups of students/parents.
We are excited to announce that Red Bank Catholic High School is now using the LunchTime Payment Portal to manage student lunch accounts. This new system will provide a secure and convenient way to add funds to your student’s lunch account, track their purchases, create reminders, and set up automatic payments.
If your student had a previous balance with the K12 Payment Center, rest assured that it has been transferred to the new LunchTime account.
Here’s a quick guide to help you set up and manage your account:
We’re excited to share that we’ve adopted a new communication platform called ParentSquare to help us keep you better informed and more connected with your school community.
With ParentSquare, you’ll receive all school messages in one place. You’ll also be able to:
Stay up to date on news and events
Fill out forms and permission slips
View calendar items, photos, and flyers from RBC
Choose how you would like to receive communications
This platform will help to consolidate the following communication platforms RBC currently uses:
SchoolMessenger
Finalsite eNotice
Naviance (communication piece only)
We look forward to sharing this new platform with you! Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your student’s success.
Click the activation link in email or text sent by RBC.
Sign in to ParentSquare https://www.parentsquare.com/signin using the contact information (email or phone number) that matches the email/phone you provided to the school.
Click the link in a post or message.
Users who did not register previously in response to an invitation, will be asked to register the first time they click on a link to sign in or sign up. For example, if an unregistered parent/guardian receives a post with parent-teacher conference sign ups, clicking the link to sign up for the conference will first lead them through the process of registering their ParentSquare account.
On or after October 6, 2025, you will receive an invitation email to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account. It takes less than a minute. You can use ParentSquare on any device. You can download the free mobile app for Android or iOS, or use it directly from a computer at www.parentsquare.com. Our goal is for every family to join ParentSquare!
